I am in the process of the final stages in finishing my white cloth. One section pinned, another damp stretched waiting to be pinned. I am hoping to have this backed by Monday...let's all hold hands and chant...it may help! There are Prairie Points,Rouleau Loops, hand embroidery stitches and needle weaving anchoring lace....a veritable feast of embellishment. I truly don't want to let this go.

Embroidery on my pocket is now complete. I added cross stitch in ''sampler'' form to the large lower area that was plain white Egyptian cotton. I think it works..... A few close ups today of embroidery so far on my pocket. These pictures show very clearly how old the fragment of cloth from my Great Grandmothers nightgown is. I am still contemplating but productively. Whilst the brain is ticking the fingers are working on toe wrap two...making progress on this. I am realising how delightful it can be to have colour and brightness in your work after weeks of white. I'm feeling a little strange today. I finished Helen's cloth last night, the one I made along with my class on 'embroider, embellish, create' and it signals the end of that little chapter. Now I'm a little lost, not sure really, floundering maybe. I think that does tend to happen when a major project is finished and you are faced with a huge expanse of time to fill. What to do?
